R53 Connector flange to WP connection question

I am in process of replacing WP and changing supercharger oil in my MINI. I replaced the connector flange between engine block and water pump. Unfortunately I did not take pictures of the flange before removing WP. Now that I have the supercharger back on I am not sure if I have the SC pipe seated correctly in the flange. In my case
I can see part of the O-ring that seals the two. Not sure if this is correct or if the O-ring rolled when installed the supercharger. Pictures of how mine currently looks.
Rather not put it back together and find out that I have a massive leak . Does this appear correct or did I goof?

Sorry this is kinda late, but it should not be visible like that. Seems like something isn't seated completely.

Yep it wasnt correct. I got more confirmation when I looked at water hose from WP to hard line under the thermostat. It was stretched to far and obviously not correct. So I pulled the Supercharger and got it lined up right.
But I then decided to replace that hose so I have to pull it again :(. Thanks for the reply, I was going to update this after I got done
