R55 What is the size of the bolt head on the belt tensioner
What is the size of the bolt head on the belt tensioner
I'm about to embark on doing my belt for the first time and see that I need to get a wrench on the end of the tensioner to move it into the service position. Can anyone tell me the size of that bolt?
N18 engine, 2011 Clubman S (R55) is the car.
(Oh I wish this was as easy as my Saab. they molded a square hole in the top of the tensioner that fits a 1/2 inch drive extension. Stick it in the hole, push, pin the tensioner and move on. This one is quite a bit more complicated!)

Answering my own question, the size of the bolt on the side of the tensioner is 30mm. I did end up using the method above to release the tension but if you need to do it by yourself you may need a wrench on it.
