F54 Little wheel/tire fitment help
Little wheel/tire fitment help
I know this is the coupe side of the forum but I’m looking to get some summer wheels and tires for my 2017 F54 all4 S. I was offered a solid deal on a set with non-run flat tires mounted that are intended for an F55/56.
The set I’m eyeing is 19”x 215 x 35. offset in the front is 44.5, rear is 49. They are designed to clear JCW brakes. My current 18”x8” x 225 wheels have an offset of 57 (OEM masterpiece).
At 44.5 offset n the front, the inner rim is 18.9mm further away from the strut and the rim will poke out 6.2mm further with no spacer and the same lugs.
At 49 offset in the back, the inner rim is 14.4mm further away from the strut and the rim will poke out 1.7mm further with no spacer and the same lugs.
Is it safe and will it look strange? The car is not lowered and it will not be put on a track. Just city driving.
thanks for your help

Thanks El-Grunto,
It’s a set of Schnitzers. The manufacturer suggests 42 offset and 225 tires all around for the clubman, and 49 offset 215 tires for all around the F56. The 44.5 offset is just for the front JCW brakes.
Oddly, at 42 offset the wheels poke 8.4mm which doesn’t seem much, but they suggest a spacer to bring it from 49 to 42 for more poke? I don’t know if thats for more a flush fit because backspace is fine for both offsets from what I read.
The other question was the 215 tires it comes with. If the tires weren’t included, I’d buy 225 for sure but it’s being sold as a set they won’t take them off. Seems like a waste to ditch brand new high performance tires for a few millimeters. If the wheelwell will look ridiculous or ride be compromised, then it is still not worth making a concession.
