This is the setup I currently have. Just bought a Mini almost a week ago and I love it. Not in love with the antiquated stereo system. I’ve been researching this endlessly only to find that I may need to ask the experts lol
So it doesn’t appear that I have the Harmon Kardon audio system, I do I’m not sure how I would confirm that. It’s also a 2010 and a lot of the stuff I’ve found for it are for 2011 or later. Is it possible to upgrade this to the Navi cluster and modify a CarPlay system to fit in this and change it all out or am I stuck with this one?

 

Do you have the speakers in the A-pillars? If so, then you have the upgraded audio. There are options, but I haven’t seen anything that looks “factory” or that I would consider looks good. I have been running the Amazon Echo Auto device for bluetooth audio, phone, etc and it works great. It’s simple and still maintains the overall look of the interior and utilizes the audio input below the window/heated seat switches.
