A/C electrics or too high pressure on 2006 R56
Hi,
I'm trying to diagnose an electrical issue with my A/C. The compressor clutch does not engage when the AC is switched on normally but i can trigger the relay with a drill battery and then it works. The Pressure switch has a potential of 0.4 V (vs. ground) when plugged in with the AC not running. I read in another forum that the signal voltage goes from 0.1 to 0.9 V correlating to 0.1 to 35 bars of pressure. So the pressure should be 13.1 bars (?). According to here:https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...tioning-431066 this is about the pressure of the high side when running. So is my AC pressure to high or did i get something wrong.
If this is normal the only thing left that could be broken is the control panel itself. Does anyone know how to check for that? Those things are pretty expensive so i would prefer not to buy one guessing
