Annoying traction control- Can I disable it?

I don't normally put it to the floor from a standstill but there's been a few situations where I've had to get across or merge onto a street with a higher speed limit quickly. One thing I've noticed is how damn intrusive the ASC system in my car is, it feels almost unsafe. My dad had an r53 a while back but it was an automatic, and I don't remember it being this intrusive at all, but as mine is a manual, maybe it makes a difference, I'm not sure. All I do know is it feels like the car bogs down as if I started in third or something if I chirp the tires even a little, and it's really annoying and makes me uncomfortable especially if I have to really go. Is there an easy way to just disable the system rather than just flicking the switch every time I get in the car? I'm used to driving cars without any form of TCS so this system just doesn't make any sense to me, especially since it's just to control wheelspin, so I would much rather have it gone. Is there like a fuse I can pull? And if I disable it, will the asc light on the dash stay lit? I don't want to disable ABS, or anything else, just the ASC system.

I don't know if Ian Cull's module is still around, but I love mine that I've bought like 8 years ago. It goes between the toggle panel and the connector and you can program it to do a bunch of things. Like disabling DSC when you start the car, Auto-Up windows, One click to unlock all doors, etc.
