Came across this very low mileage and clean GP1

There have been three on Bring A trailer that sold for north of $30,000 recently. Probably the reason that the dealer is asking that price.
Not long before it pops back up on BAT, IMO.
Knee-Jerk reaction says 'greed' on 'flip' deals like this, but I'd try to maximize my profits too in the same shoes.
Still less than purchase price... still less than a new loaded Hyundai !!
This dealership (and their sister store Prestige) have been buying and flipping GPs for a while. Eventually they will let it go for a more reasonable price after sitting on the showroom floor a long time.
They’ve had it for months. They’ve lowered the price and then actually raised it back up not that long ago. I’ve made a good offer but they won’t budge on the price. It has low miles but they aren’t low enough for that price. Plus it’s had 4 owners.

A car with more owners most likely wasn’t taken care of as well. The maintenance records are usually incomplete too. That GP is also a northern car. It most likely wasn’t driven in the winters but I would definitely put it on a lift and look underneath before purchasing.
That’s a good question. I made them an offer of $28k, plus the ridiculous stupid dealer fees. They weren’t interested. That’s basically what it sold for on BAT plus buyer fee.

Dont forget they had to pay to have it shipped, then every dealer will add $500 just to take it through the shop. Their break even is likely closer to $30k. Factor in a sales commission and some profit and you can see why it’s priced this high.
Unfortunately it’s too high to sell. BaT already showed where the top of the market is at for this car. It’s going to sit on the showroom floor for at least half a year.
Maybe they’ll pick up a GP3 buyer in the Spring who will go for this one instead, will look like a bargain in comparison.
