WTB Clubman All4 6-speed Manual 2017+
Hello everyone, First post, just joined the community and learning a lot. I really want to get a 6-speed Manual AWD vehicle and the wife loves the MINI Clubman with the rear barn doors so we've come to an agreement that the MINI Clubman All4 6-speed manual is the perfect car for both of us.
We went to a MINI dealer in Denver tonight and drove a 2017 CPO Clubman All4 6-spd, the only manual within 500 miles of us.
Was really fun to drive and now I'm hooked, we drove a BMW 340i x-drive 6-spd first but as i mentioned the wife likes the Clubman. Anyway, the one we drove is a 2017 CPO, but interestingly enough there are 0 as in absolutely No Service records for the first 42K miles showing on the CarFax and the dealer shows no other records at all of service at other dealers, the original owner bought in Louisville, KY and then it was in MI and then in CO.
The salesperson assured me that to be a CPO MINI it has to have oil change records, recorded in the memory, of at least 1 oil change per year. I just want to confirm with the MINI community this is legit and can be confident in buying this one ? I definitely plan to extend the CPO warranty beyond the one year.
It does not have the backup camera option either which I would want to add also and is a whole other discussion which I have been researching.
Thanks in Advance, it is a beautiful color combo.

Good luck with your sale hopefully she goes to a good home! It sucks how bad these depreciate but hopefully whoever picks her up will treat her well!

Actually I'm not selling, I have a question for the community about buying this one and the lack of service history even though it's selling as CPO or very open to finding another Clubman All4 Manual on this forum from a member.

If the salesperson assures you of this then ask him/her to show you the data!

It's funny because I was playing around on CarGurus the other day and thought if I wanted any MINI I could have what would I get and the manual Clubman all4 S (or JCW, but these have quite a premium) would be the one.

CarGurus shows only 31 F5x? manual all4 S or JCW throughout the country so they're pretty rare. And I agree, always liked dark reds.

Another anecdote: my wife's Aunt drove a late 90's or early 00's Honda Accord about 42000km before the engine seized as the oil had never been changed! So I'm sure the oil has been changed once or twice on this!

Decisions, decisions. Good luck!

cheers
