New High Pressure Fuel Pump Warranty - 2010 Mini Cooper S

BMW just settled a Class Action for the High-Pressure Fuel Pump for 2010 Mini Cooper S (and possibly more, I just only have a 2010 so you may want to check previously uncovered years)

Directly from Mini Support:

• The high pressure fuel pump (HDP) limited warranty for defects in materials or workmanship on this vehicle has been extended to 10 years or 120,000 miles, whichever comes first, as determined from the original in-service date of 05/04/2010.

Also there are these warranties as well:

• For this vehicle, the front passengers OC3 seat occupancy mat limited warranty for defects in materials or workmanship has been extended to 10 years or 120,000 miles, whichever comes first, as determined from the original in-service date of 05/04/2010.

• For this vehicle, the engine coolant system's thermostat housing with thermostat limited warranty for defects in materials or workmanship has been extended to 10 years or 120,000 miles, whichever comes first, as determined from the original in-service date of 05/04/2010.

• For this vehicle, the footwell module (FRM) warranty for defects in materials or workmanship has been extended to 10 years or 156,000 miles, whichever comes first, as determined from the original in-service date of 05/04/2010.

You're welcome! The day finally came for us 2010 people. No more $1,300 HPFP. It will be free to repair at Mini.
