Drivetrain Not using Blue tooth on JCW Pro exhaust
When the dealer attempted to install a JCW pro exhaust and tuner on my 2019 Minicooper F57 he could not due to the wiring module for the S3ARA factory bike rack prep already occupying the space behind the trunk trim on the passenger side of the trunk. There was no room to place the blue tooth module. Anybody know why they use a blue tooth module instead of just hard wiring the exhaust valve? Has anyone hard wired the exhaust valve on the JCW pro kit with just an on off switch and avoided the blue tooth and it’s associated problems?
I haven't heard of this issue. We've only installed them on F56 and F54's at work. I never had an issue with my bluetooth but read many others having issues. I disconnected my bluetooth when the valve was open, car has to be running at the time and leave the valve open all the time. No more pushing the button on the remote everyone I get in the car.
Disconnected blue tooth
I appreciate that you just leave the valve open all the time. But sounds like a lot of expense just to have a semi straight pipe? Gonna try a muffler delete.... Hopefully the drone won’t drive me out of the car!
