In need of some help please

So recently I've noticed on start up whether it be in the morning or after work (after the car has been sitting for several hours) as I start to drive and apply some pressure to the gas pedal I seem to get this strange revving type thing happening, like if I was pumping the gas pedal. It doesn't happen any more once the car is warmed up. Now.. I have applied more pressure to get passed this strange revving thing.. any thoughts?

The gas peddle is electronic, no cable. Could be a dirty resistor in the pedal assemble. You don't have a sprint booster on it?

With the car off before you put the key in, work the pedal to the floor and back several times. The put key in, start car and drive off, see if that helps.

So I gave that a shot and no change. It only happens for a short period of time as I begin to drive upon start up i get up to about 2rpms and it's like a fluttering hesitation for lack of a better term at the moment.. is strange.. you can watch the rpm needle climb slowing and back down slightly and if I give it more gas it goes away.. i will try to take a video of it in the morning to show and perhaps someone will shoot me some ideas

So what is actually seems to be happening is that the turbo is oscillating, which could be an issue with vacuum lines I'm assuming.. it only happens on cold starts.. any thoughts?

Check that you dont have a cracked intake tube or the like. Pretty common area to break and leak.

Thanks for that bit of information.. will definitely check that out.. it only oscillates briefly upon the cold start when driving in the beginning. Once I push through it, it happens no more during the drive

You're referring too the air intake tube/boot/pipe that the air mass sensor attaches too

Yeah, but where it connects to the turbo typically breaks

So I changed out the air intake tube and still get the brief oscillation.. could/would the turbo boost converter solenoid valve give this issue if it was starting to crap out?

Does this cause a whistle to occur? My Mini has learned how to whistle when it's warming up. It's not a happy sound, nor is it cute.

Anything is possible....easy to figure out by simply running your hand or a rag over the area while its whistling...see if it stops.

At idle I am not sure it would really pull enough to audibly whistle, but I cant say for sure. Might also verify it isnt coming from the belt/pullies.
