New clutch is in but have questions

I took my time and replaced the clutch on my 05 MCS and replaced it with a single mass Valeo kit. First off what a huge difference in feel, is it suppose to feel real light? Also I know have a very slight vibration at idle that I never noticed before is that normal? Then when the key is in the on position you can hear the power steering running that you didn’t before. However when the subframe was out the power steering reservoir had tilted over and some fluid leaked out. It’s still full after reinstall I just hear the noise now.
Thanks for your time

The light pedal is normal, it should get a little heavier with time. The power steering thing doesn't sound too weird to me, I'd just keep an eye on the fluid level. I'm not sure about the vibration.

Did you bleed the power steering system after it drained? -Run the steering back and forth full lock to full lock slowly about three or four times, if there's air in the system, that will eliminate it-This is usually done with the wheels off of the ground, so you might want to have it on dirt rather than blacktop to reduce the force it has to exert.

Ok thanks yes it’s feeling better. I can’t believe the difference between the two and now I can feel all my power mods now that it’s not slipping

Yes I did, it feels normal and isn’t noisy anymore. Thanks.

I couldn't believe how light the Valeo is either. Compared to the old stock one it felt like the pedal was not connected at all, lol. And it hasn't gotten any heavier during the last three years / 45.000km it's been on there.

I've changed all the motor mounts to stiffer ones, and already had plenty of vibrations before the Valeo went in, and couldn't really tell if there was any difference.

New Valeo clutch in

I just installed my valeo clutch this weekend. Wow what a difference in pedal feel. It has taken a day or so to get used to it. Its nice to feel the power again. My old OEM clutch was slipping. I also did a full rebuild on the subframe. New balljoints, control arms and control bushings, sway bar bushings, New strut mounts, and axle shafts. It feels like a completely new car.
I haven't had any new vibrations though. I did replace the timing chain tensioner and it runs so much better and is much quieter.
