recently Ive noticed that my steering has been feeling a little weak and i think it might have something to do with the amount of power steering fluid. I think that it might be too low but i'm not sure. Does anyone know what the level the power steering fluid is supposed to be at?

 

The cap has a dipstick on it. The bottom is the cold level, the upper mark is the hot level. More than likely you need a pump, it's pretty common problem.

 

Ive read all about people's experiences with ps pumps and everyone states that the steering becomes hard and difficult but that is not the case with mine. The steering rather than difficult feels weak and it feels as if i have to turn the wheel more to turn. the level the ps fluid is at right now is barely on the bottom level. so i was assuming that it is too low and i needed more and that it was the source of the problem. I havent added any yet because i didnt want to jump the gun and just put some in and end up messing something up.
