So, ol betty is sitting at the dealer right now, needing a new clutch kit as the bearing went out. The father wants $3,800 to fix it. The kit includes the clutch, pressure plate, bearing and flywheel. Is there an aftermarket clutch kit that you guys recommend that is better than OEM? Thanks everyone!!!

 

There are a lot of threads discussing clutches and options on this site.... here is just one very recent one.

 

Seems like there is not a lot of traction here unless you're doing some sort of performance upgrades to your engine. I'm tying to make a sound decision here, before paying the dealer $3,800.

I'm guessing you didn't read that thread i linked for you. Might be wise to pay close attention to the last post in that thread.
