New Tires

Can anyone recommend a good all around tire? I dont race and will never spend time on the track but want a good handling tire that also offers low noise and good tread wear. I would like to stick with the stock tire size of 205/45/17. I've been out of the street tire game for so long I have no idea where to start.

Thanks in advance

Look into a set of Perilli P Zero Nero M+S. I just got a set and so far so good. They received great reviews on Tire Racks site. I had to go up a size(215/45-17) but, there wasn't a big issue there. Thanks Alex. Check em' out.

It's sometimes hard to optimize handling and comfort with an all season tire.
205/45-17 really limits your choices. I'd recommend considering also 215/45-17 which can be used with your stock 17x7" rims just fine.

Worth a look at tirerack:
Avon M550 A/S 215/45-17 (Ultra high perf all season tire) $98 360 tread wear
Pirelli P Zero Nero M+S 215/45-17 (Ultra High perf all season) $116 400 tread rating (great consumer ratings and test results on tirerack)
