Radio ‘Disabled’

I have a problem with my Boost Radio fitted to R52

Had the battery disconnected for a short time and now the radio is showing as disabled.

I have disconnected the battery again, joined terminals together, left the car overnight.
Had the radio out and reseated the plug again, checked all fuses and still getting the error messages.

There is no option to enter a code and I’m stumped.

Anyone come across similar before?

Standard boost radio which is original to the car and no CD Changer fitted

Did you look at the bottom of the thread for related topics? I see 5 threads showing.

Yes, I’ve read most of the threads on here and many on google.

A lot point to cd changer of which I do not have, I’m struggling to find an explanation as nothing has been changed or added other than the batter being disconnected.

I'm guessing here that you have installed a different radio into your car?

What year is the car?
What year is the radio?

You have basically given us nothing to go on.....

One of two possibilities, either turn your key on, and walk away from the car for a while, maybe 30-45 minutes, or, you might have a K-bus wire issue under the passenger front seat like my '06 R52 had

This is very helpful thank you.
I have tried the key in and walk away already.

But Passenger seat was removed when the battery was disconnected. I’m wondering if wiring below that has now been disturbed?

Is is obvious to see the KBUS wiring or does some of the carpet need removed?

If your passenger seat is already out, remove the side plastic trim panel at the door opening, pull the carpet up from the side and look at your K-bus wiring under there....the pictures I posted were what I found when I pulled my carpet up. Plus it was very wet under there, took about a week to dry it all out with a 20" box fan
