Has anyone replaced the H7 high beam with LED

I'd like to have more light on the high beam in my R53. The Xenon is nice but I would like more white light.

Has anyone replaced the H7 bulb with an LED for the High Beam ?

I'd like to hear from you please.

I'm interested too, Not sure how the LED will work when day time lights are on, lights are not on full power.

I would also like to replace the H7 bulb with something that gives more light, but I am concerned that a too powerful bulb will burn/discolor the reflective part of the headlight.

Any suggestions?

I replaced the highs with LED's. The highs are definitely brighter with the LED's. I think the ones that Mod mini used are no longer available or they were not when I bought mine. The install was simple. The DRL's do flicker for a couple of seconds when the car is first started.

Is there a brand/make of LED light that anyone can recommend?

Correct, those are no longer available.

Which did you go with?

I used these in my GP and they've worked well. You will get the flicker at initial start from the ECU checking for burnt bulbs, but it goes away quickly

I've tried 3 different H7 LED bulbs in my 2002 halogen headlights.
They were all 'brighter', all 'whiter' (or blueish) & all had a lot more glare. None provided any improvement in real on-the-road terms.
I'm not concerned with DRLs or color.
All I want is more light where I can actually use it.

The newer Torchstar do seem to be the best bet, but what is your real-world on-the-road experience?

The flickering of LEDs at startup, I am told, is a general circuit check which can't be programmed off whereas the bulb check can. (I haven't tried!).

There is some adjustment with the location of the 'filament' inside the housing which helped with setting up the light pattern. I put them in my low beam as well, and there is a defined cut-off similar to projector headlights on my '03. The light isn't as good as them, but was better than the OEM halogen bulb they replaced. It sounds like you are a discerning customer, so they may not suit you needs.
