Anyone else get a recall notice for LOCK THE DME FAULT MEMORY? I don't the have the TSB number or anything, just received a text from my service dept so I can schedule it. Wonder what it is? When I look up my VIN on the NHTA site nothing comes up. The Mini site doesn't show anything either...

 

TSB isn't a recall it is a recommended service item. Recall is for safety stuff. That is why it isn't popping up anywhere.

 

I called it a TSB but they called it a safety recall...

 

Apparently they need to do a software update and it could take all day, we know how that goes...

Update... So I got the recall taken care of, apparently it's just software update to correct a problem where some fault codes would not appear when doing diagnostics. It took about 30 minutes and I didn't see any difference in anything, all my pre-sets were good, nothing changed.
