I've got a 2009 MCS R56. I'm looking to purchase my sixth HPFP. My last pump lasted 6 weeks. The one prior lasted 11 months. The one before that lasted a little over 16 months. One pump was OEM and the other two were Ebay knock offs. The Ebay sellers were both under warranty, but absolutely no response when I try to warranty a bad pump. I'm not buying from Ebay again. It doesn't seem to matter who I buy it from or how much I pay for it. Who is everyone buying from? Is there anyone that will actually warranty this disaster of a part?

Ok, but why? I'm not questioning ECS Tuning. I've bought from them in the past and been happy with their product and service. But why would you buy this HPFP over others? Does this one have a better warranty? Better price? (than what?) Guaranteed to last 80k?
Btw, I had two replaced under warranty by the dealer.

 

It is OEM for Peugeot / Citroen Europe. And, the price is about half what the OEM Mini pump costs in the USA.

This isn't the first time we've heard of ebay one failing so I would continue to avoid them.

 

$2000 for the N18 pump?!? I can go to my local dealer and get the same thing for $800!

 

Thanks for catching the price error. It was adding it to the price of the N14 pump. I fixed it as the original N18 pump with the drive is $1350

But if someone needed an N18 pump we would use the Bosch one which is much cheaper as it doesn't include the drive, it's just the pump with regulator.
