Turbo inlet coupler.

New to me 2012 JCW N14.

Engine was running rough so I pop open the hood and see the turbo intake hose hanging off. There is a cracked coupler there. Wondering if it was stock of if there is a wrong sized intake tube there.

Cant find anything locally. Might give me a reason to just upgrade the intake tube and maybe put in a cold air intake.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Time for you to learn about the illustrated parts list for Mini's --- http://www.realoem.com/bmw/index.do --- just enter the last seven characters of your VIN then browse for the part numbers you need. Most all of the NAM vendors will be happy to sell you a CAI. Any brand will be better than OEM. For the DIY'r, there's also a website with great service instructions --- https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/ --- same VIN info --- I've got mine memorized.

FYI --- Mini Mania, another Mini vendor based in Nevada City, is having an open house May 18. They often have discounts available and there's usually quite a crowd --- show-and-tell, etc. Maybe patch your broken coupler and limp over to their event?
