anyone know the dimensions of the alta type intercooler couplers? looking for inner diameter and overall length. I searched but could not find anything that showed the dimensions

There are two different size couplers, the bigger is aprox 13" I.D. length is 43mm, sorry my standard tape isn't accurate enough. the smaller is the same length as the first, the I.D. is approx 10". You can check them out at the tune, I'm bringing them out incase I have a defective stock coupler.

 

13"?? is that the stock ones, or the alta silicone type? I thought that the alta type were round, then you had the squeeze them down to an oval? I was looking at cheaper silicone couplers, that are round, but I need the round dimensions...

 

Sorry that's the measurment around the inside of the coupler. They are round when you get them from Alta and squish down to the oval shape once installed. The diamters measure 3.25" and 4.5" aprox. The alta's are infact silicon.

 

That does not sound right. The ODs are: 13.5" and 11", and should be 4.297" and 3.5" Dia.
So the hose should be: 4 1/4" and 3 1/2" diameter.
Not completely sure on the 4 1/4" hose. 4.297" is just a bit larger than 4.25" and the next size up is 4.31", that is just a bit bigger.
