Just picked up an 06 S 6 speed San Diego

JUST 120,00 and had the head and tensioner redone last October. Does anyone recognize it?

Nope, but get some sticky tires on there and go tear up Palomar!

Looks like 15% pulley from wmw, ddmworks cai, and diverter from ddmworks, Alta exhaust, Megan coilovers msd coil and wires, short shifter, raceseng shifter **** and a sway bar with zerk fittings. Also drilled and slotted rotors.

Congrats. It looks familiar and has our pulley but I can't place who it was.

If you don't mind, I'm curious what you picked it up for. I picked mine up in October for 4k. Completely stock with dealer installed JCW kit, but since have upgraded to all the goodies you have and then some.

Feels like it too!! There are a few issues. Like a creaky rear end, that I am trying to figure out. It was listed on Craigslist here in San Diego.

Are there any shops in SD you trust for alignments? I live over the mountain in the desert and as soon as I get my rear end back together I'm going to need an alignment and there isn't a shop over here that can.

Great find ... I'd pack it full and get the hell out of CA ...

Sorry, I was having flashbacks .. I lived up in Paso Robles for a few years ... personal opinion, don't get me wrong I really enjoyed the scenery but not the local government. I was not committed to the situation so it was really easy for me to sit back and analyze my situation and when it was time I packed my bags loaded the U-Haul and drove East until I was on the Mason Dixon line.

Regardless of my issues.. Great looking car, enjoy it.

Motor On!

All you need is 4 identical jack stands, some thin (3/4" - 1") metal tube that's wider than the car, a manual caliper (measurements), and a carpenter's square. This will allow you to perform alignments better than any shop.

Turns out the car had a bad coolant leak. I swapped out the thermostat and housing and I think we’re back in business! Still super pumped about this buy!

also thanks to @WayMotorWorks for shipping out that aluminum housing so quickly! It arrived before it was even scheduled!
