Going to purchase either abs or pvc 3/16" X 4' X 8' sheet and see what I can come up with. Just seeing if anyone else has tried and succeeded in making them. If so. What dimensions were used?

 

I had at one point years ago made a couple of sets of these. Along with front splitters... I gave the ends alittle bump out just to keep it from looking like just a cut flat sheet. Which it really is of course.. I don't think I have any of them left.. Here are a couple of pics from when I was doing paper & card board patterns before CNC cutting them... Well, pics are not attaching..

What are the point of those "Splitters" on a street car? Just looks I'm assuming?

 

good question. I should have been more clear. This is in fact a track car. Or at least when I'm finished with some other upgrades it will be. Splitters and air dams to come. I just like doing my own work cuz when stuff brakes I dont want to rely on outside help.

 

I am curious how this went for you and what you did?
