Windows auto up not working
Windows auto up not working
Suddenly, the one touch function to close the window from the toggle is not working on driver and passenger side.
One touch function to open both windows is working perfectly.
I have lost the function to open and close the windows by holding the lock and unlock buttons on the keyfob too.
I have tried:
1) Reset Windows by Procedure A
Insert the fob, hold both window toggles "down" at the same time until the windows are fully open.
Pop the fob out, then back in again, hold both toggles "up" until fully closed.
Pop the fob out, then back in again...you should have auto up/down again.
2) Reset Windows by Procedure B
Close the window and door fully.
Lower the window by holding the switch in the "down" position. Continue to hold the switch down for at least 5 seconds after the window has been fully lowered.
Raise the window by holding the switch in the "fully up" position. Continue to hold the switch in the up position for at least 5 seconds after the window has been fully raised.
Repeat steps 1 to 3 for the window on the other side.
3) Procedure 1 & 2 holding both toggles
4) Procedure 1 & 2 holding one toggle at time
5) Disconnect FRM for some hours and then trying 1, 2, 3 & 4
6) Disconnect battery for some hours and then trying 1, 2, 3 & 4
Any idea if there is something to check that I`m missing?

my driver side isnt exactly doing that... my window is cracked open by doing 4 taps of the button tap to go down and tap stop.., tap to go down and tap, stop
then next time i tap it, it will go up down fast then stop, the next tap it tries to go all the way down. and i have to stop it and hit up again to make it go up. (it wants to go down whether i tap up or down.)
very wierd,
i vape in the care so i need it cracked a bit and in this cold those 2x 2x taps are perfect.
but the weird up down real fast on the next or next after tap... is weird and the other day when it was cold and icy the window just went down realllll slow, and wouldnt do anything but down until it hit bottom. i got real nervous i would need to drive home with my window open.
i would love to make my windows relearn top and bottom but these nonworking methods are disconcerting,
i saw a thread not long ago and cant find it, that spoke about a very different way.
with my new fancy foxwell scanner tool maybe there is a way....??

It's your battery not too old and fully charged?
Well, I could fix the problem, but just for 24 hours.
Windows reinitialization through NCS Expert was the trick.
Now my doubt is: why is it again in the same state?
Surely there is some "mechanical" error or other thing to fix.
The strange think is that the fix works for both windows and the error comes for both windows at the same time too.
It seems to be something related to both windows and not just one of them...
