I ordered my mini but...
on the Lounge for Mini.USA the list of options does not have some of the options I ordered that are supposed to be put on before it comes to my dealer. Also it shows a picture of my car and it is totally one color. I ordered it with a black top. No black top is listed in the options. Is this typical for inaccuracies like this? I have the print out of what I ordered and this is what should be there but again does not have everything. This is my first mini so I am new at this. ski
It's typical that if you recently put in your order the car configured in the owners lounge is a little off. Sometimes dramatically off (initially). Your dealer may have pre configured one before you submitted your order. They should update to your specs and then those will show up.
I wouldn't sweat it, but call you motoring advisor to confirm your specs.

I'd call the dealer (or MiniUSA) to verify. There were a few small items missing on my list in the Lounge, the most worrisome being the anthracite headliner. The rest were small dealer-installed things like floor mats and the aux input. Major things like body and roof color were correct, though. I called MiniUSA and they confirmed they had the correct specs and the car was built properly. I would definitely check to make sure your dealer or MINI didn't screw up.

Yes, if your order just went in, you might wait a few days to see if it updates, and then, after that, check with the dealer or MINIUSA to be absolutely sure your MINI is right. Things do, on rare occasion, get fouled up so I wouldn't blame anybody for checking and re-checking their order ad nausium. Both MINIUSA and dealers have long ago accepted how neurotic MINI owners are so they're pretty tolerant of our obsessive behavior. In fact...I think they encourage it!!!

Yeah, I ordered mine for a Jan build 2 weeks ago and I noticed the same problem. I emailed my MA and she said she double checked my actual order and said all was OK. Don't feel bad about being a bit neurotic on something you're spending $20+K on! Have fun during your wait

Order my 2005 Mini back in July. I also had some concerns about what I ordered and what they were gonna send because the 2005 configurator was not even up and running then. Checked with my dealer and found out the everything was A-OK!!!!!!!!!!
These guys won't steer you wrong, call tomorrow and check!!! Then try to relax while you wait for in to arrive. From the date of order until the date I picked it up at the dealer was exactly 6 weeks!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks again for the responses. I emailed Mini.USA and got a response that they could do nothing to change my order. I was told the only person who can do this is my sales person who was not in today. Since it is a holiday week he may be gone for the week. I will try to get him tomorrow. I am afraid the car will go to production before I get the right opitions listed. They still are not there and these are not ones the dealer installs. ski
When we ordered our MCS, our MA gave us a print-out of the build request he submitted to MINI (to our exact spec). At no time did these details appear on the owner's lounge; it only ever listed the colour combo; none of the factory fitted options ever showed up....at least I couldn't find them

You better call ASKMINI to verify your order - I added a few items after ordering at the dealer. I added them about a week after my original order and it was before production. But when the car came in, they weren't on the car and I didn't have the patience to wait for a new order.

They tend to be a little more current than miniusa.com but the best, most accurate, up-to-date info can be gotten from your dealer.
