Retrofitting an R56 LCI radio to pre LCI

Hi!

After reading a couple of threads about retrofitting newer model radio's to older MCS, but I cannot find a thread about my own situation.
I own a '09 Cooper, so pre LCI (grey buttons, 1 line display, volume below cd slot). I got the base radio fitted, but with the MFSW (voice and phone not working, no bluetooth module connected).

If I were to buy a 2012 unit (black, eject button below CD slot, volume moved to speedo), would it be plug & play or do I need rewiring / recoding?
Are the 2012 boost CD units all equipped with bluetooth? Or was that optional?

Anyone who can help me out? Much appreciated!

Thanks,
Ardjan

no, not all are with bluetooth. when looking on the radio from (when out) the top look of bluetooth logo. If it does not have it, than its plain radio. had it happen to me and returned the unit
