'06 Sudden Brake Fluid Leak

Wife's '06 S Cabrio (~ 62,000 miles) disabled this afternoon by loss of brakes.
Once I could get to her - and it - I found brake pedal had pressure but would slowly sink to the floor.
Looking underneath I saw a large puddle of what smelled like brake fluid on the pavement, centered left to right and about even with the front of the rear wheels. Bottom of central frame was wet & dripping, brake reservoir showed about 1/4" below ADD line before I tried pedal.

I don't drive her Cabrio much so don't recall if there's an ASC switch and I don't believe it came with DSC.

Might this be a blown front/rear proportioning $$$ valve or could this be something more ominous and thus likely $$$$ repair?

Sounds like the slave cylinder went bad and leaked. Brakes and clutch both use it.
