Maybe with Sema, and all of the paperwork to forge this merger, the IC's progess took a back seat...

Here is a post from you back in 2003 (https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...DR+Intercooler) indicating that the RDR appeared to be showing at least the same if not better numbers than the air to water intercooler. There are a ton of other posts indicating people who had conversations with you in which you said it was showing excellent numbers. I even called RDR a while back and they said the same thing. Why then all of a sudden after almost a year of talk is there a sudden turnaround and now it sounds like it makes no improvement or worse numbers? Could you elaborate some? I was really waiting for this one. Why was it showing good numbers and now bad numbers? Do you think all the air to air intercoolers are suffering the same thing? There doesn't seem to be any real solid numbers on any of them out there.

That's not a post from me, that's a post from somebody else "quoting" me. Like you, I had been very optimistic about the effetiveness of a larger intercooler. I just haven't seen the numbers to substantiate the optimism. Here's the operative phrase in Redleg13's "quote" of me:
"I don't have the proper dyno tests
complete"
If there are a "ton" of other posts from people who had conversations with me where I said that the intercoolers were showing "excellent numbers", I haven't seen them. More importantly, we have never seen any tests that show excellent numbers.
As I stated in my above post, we will continue to evaluate both cores from RDR and Hopefully we can come up with a design that improves efficiency. Until then, we won't offer a part that doesn't improve the performance of the car (notice that we don't sell a header?). I, like you, want a good intake charge cooling solution for my car: one that works, isn't too expensive, and easy to install. Especially for the Philly summer months. If we come up with one, or I find one out there, I'll gladly sell it.
