Ever consider doing a drive on old US 30, or US 66 to Cali?

What about doing a run down to the casino river boats in Lawrenceville, IN? It'd be a bit much for a Sunday drive, but there would be gambling so that's ok. I do know of a real good cheap place to have Sunday brunch in Greencastle if we could find some good roads in that general area.

It would. I do believe you stole a menu from there so as to remember just how cheap it was.

It might be a little far for a day drive, but we could always do a "MINIs at the beach" and head north. I too am always keen for just a drive around town that includes lots of round-a-bouts. There is nothing better than clogging a circle with MINIs. Monument circle anyone?

I noticed that the walking trails behind Hummel Park would fit a Mini! With all of those "s curves" oh my, what fun lol.... illegal, but hey, that only adds to the fun does it not ?!

camminich: Yes the Lake is a little far up there. Besides Mini's at the beach maybe a short drive.... Highway 12 between Michigan City and Burns Harbor is nice drive, Especially when the leaves have just started changing. Some twisties. Indiana is just too flat, not enough twisty hills

Gingerman Raceway is also nearby the lake. Michigan has 70 mph speed limits, but don't dare go over 70!

Who needs to go to MI for 70mph? It seems like that is the standard speed on IN-36 going out to Avon .

Ok, seriously speeking, It is a bit flat right around here. How about a trip out to IU. The road to Bloomington is nice, and there are some things to do out there.

I'm up for another drive in the Bloomington area. We had a blast at the last gathering.

That sounds like a good idea. We could even take 37 in, and maybe 45 out going towards Brown County park. Might be a bit of a drive, but still less than 3 hours. Now we just need to find a weekend when. I think I heard the 16th of January.

Sunday drive

There will be a Sunday drive Jan. 16. I am not sure what the route will be yet, Tom hasn't quite finished the details. I will post where we are headed to as soon as it's done.

I don't think he was headed that direction, but if everyone would like to go that way, maybe he could change it. I will ask!

Hey, wherever and whenever is great! I am always looking forward to motoring. If we go North one month, we can always go south the next !
