Did it today, set a new high for me last drive I did was around 22 miles EV.
Took pictures for your viewing pleasure as always
Looks like I could have made 25 miles max before the ICE started. This trip was just the right length from home to have a chance to make it on battery and I had to manage all the energy to get there just barely! Secondary roads only speeds up to 45mph. It was an EV car show at the town hall, lots of people showed up good times.
What have you guys been able to get for EV range?

A new spot?
That's why I asked Whine not Walnuts if he could perhaps make a specific forum for the Countryman EV so the rest of the folks like you who are not interested in efficiency can concentrate about posts with performance and speed.
It certainly is a different world when you buy an efficient vehicle you go from trying to get there as fast as you can (the bragging rights to your friends) to getting there as efficient as you can. Its a whole different world than overtaking someone at full bore and then having to slam on the brakes at the red light ahead. By the time that person is getting to the light, its already turned to green and they didn't even have to stop
At the end of the day I'm just trying to use this car the way it was designed to maximize its potential benefits. Fun to drive but the most efficient as well.

Yes, a different world and a different mindset indeed. Though I have a JCW, I do from time to time play with the 'green' mode to see what kind of mileage I can attain. I got bored of that quickly though. I agree that there should be a dedicated thread for EV stuff.
That is impressive!
Few questions:
What year/month was your SE built? Also are you in the US or elsewhere? I've heard of higher mileage from folks in the UK on newer models.
For those who don't care about the EV efficiency side of things, they are just sour that we'd take them in a race
I'm convinced that Mini gave the JCW the nod in the 0-60 stats just to keep the JCW folks happy. I haven't seen any real world JCW 0-60 times, but I have seen the SE, and it's faster than the stats provided by Mini.

ohhh smack talk? I race every other weekend, please bring your EV thing
wait you can't, scca banned them because they are unsafe for autocross, and they are slow anyway.
if you lower it enough to not flip over, SCCA will let you race it in STX, good luck!

I would love to get my F60 on a track, thanks for the STX update!

they use a formula to determine rollover risk, if you can lower the car enough they will let you autocross.
With stock tires it's not that big a deal, but the formula assumes everyone will be on the current 200tw tires, rival S or re71r where the grip is so high you can flip

I have no idea what the 0-60 is, when racing there is very little 0-60, you do get a little launch at the start on an autocross course
lots of fun outrunning corvettes on the track, there is no 0-60 on the track the first lap out is warm up the tires. FWIW I get 8 mpg on the track
