My understanding is there has been many paint codes and names for black roof car over the years. It's confusing.

Does anybody know if the 2013 Coupe is the same color code as the HT or other models?

When in very bright sunlight it seems solid black but at close examination I am not so sure. I know the top on Coupes are aluminum instead of steel stamping.

 

looking at the complete paint catalog for 2013 MINI - all models, 2013 and focusing on "roof" in the Sherwin Williams Automotive database

they list each exterior color and all the roof/mirror colors which wer paired

thru the 17 pages on ONE 'black' appears for the roof/mirror:

code 668 Jet Black,

p.s. the white roof is 899 Aspen White

p.s. also the codes for black and white wheels .... yes they are painted and clear coated

I am holding from "Automotive Touchup" the black Mini paint and their code is "MINI A94". I have used it in the past and it is a great match.

 

My 2008 and 2009 r55 is 668 jet black for the roof and trim. I've painted my fenders and rims this colour.
