Sunroof rattle

I noticed a few threads mentioned a sunroof rattle. At the end of last year I had my 2017 in for an oil change and mentioned it. They said it was a know issue on some vehicles and applied some felt tape to prevent the plastic shade cover rattling against the plastic below it. Silence and no rattle since then. Very simple fix.

Thanks for sharing this! I am gonna bring it up when I bring her in for service. In the mean time if you don't close the sun shade completely (95% open) it doesn't rattle.

The mechanics at my dealership actually adjusted the clearance between the 2 and no more rattles. 😁
