Wireless Charger - Now Useless
My wife and I upgraded our phones a couple months ago to the new Samsung S9+ which do not fit in the wireless charger in the car. You'd think with the current sizes of phones these days they would have made it to accept larger phones... Has anyone run into this and modified the cradle?

I had my phone without a case for a week before my case came in so I had time to test it out. I'm thinking mod the holder/charger or get the mini holder that mounts to the speedo/tacho cluster.

I'm surprised people use the built in wireless charger. It charges sooooo slowly. I prefer to take a few seconds to plug in my phone to the usb port so I actually have a charged phone.
If someone had a mod to make it fast wireless charging, then I'd be interested.

I actually use Carplay every day in my company car, much preferred over the Ford system. Having wireless in my 18' makes the system even better. With the new iOS update, you'll be able to use Google maps with traffic, which will make it even better.
I'm in agreement though about the wireless charging. My phone fits fine (iPhone X) but my wife's phone does not. As she is the daily driver of the car, it makes the whole armrest pretty pointless.....
