R60 Radio/USB problems
Radio/USB problems
Hi. Just got a 2013 Countryman S. I'm trying to connect my iPhone to the radio via USB, but the car keeps telling me that my "cable is not supported". Tried with different cables and different phones...same problems.
any suggestions?

Lots of info around on this one. I don't have Iphone so never had to deal with it but here is a start!

This is one of my biggest peevs with my 2012 MCS...I don't have the tech package (not sure if it would matter)...but I was super bummed to find out that you can't play music over Bluetooth, I picked up an adapter that just sounded weird but worked and you had some controls on the radio itself with it. I never tried a true BMW Y cable or whatever since I recently switched to Android but I have been lazy and still use my old iPhone just as my iPod lol...anyways I just use the aux adapter and its kind of annoying cause it doesn't pause when I stop the car so I have to manually do it but I have gotten use to it...I may break someday and pickup a Y cable if I am convinced its better...but I charge with a car charger and have a aux cable connected to the iPhone... #ramblingcauseimdrinking
I bought this recently, and works great. Able to stream music via Bluetooth.
