Bump stops

For a strictly street car that I enjoy taking out on the back roads, which bump stops do I want? I'm doing NM springs with Koni Yellows and a 22mm sway bar.

Do I need the x5 Racing, the WMW short stops, or just cut mine down?

Thanks

I would go with the WMW set.

OK. Ordered the WMW Bump Stops but he doesn't know when they'll be back in stock so my choices got narrowed down to cutting down the stock ones or the FatCat's (X5 Racing) . Are the FatCat's worth the $80 or am I just as fine with the stock ones cut down. Thanks

You will probably be fine just cutting down the stock ones, but if they are still the originally supplied stops from 2009 when the car was built, they might be crusty and ready to be replaced anyway.

12000 miles but might be aged a bit. I would buy new stock ones anyways but are the FatCat's worth the extra moola?

Do you know if the Fat Cat (5X Racing) Stops need to be cut down for lowered springs? Thanks

Going with OEM Mini bump stops, you’re going to pay just about the same as the 5X ones. You are already spending up on Koni yellows and NM springs. Instead of worrying about bump stops, I would just get the 5X ones and be done with it. I would also get the PowerFlex rear upper strut bushings.

$40 vs $90 with shipping. Not the same or even about. I AM probably going with the 5X but my next question is do THEY need to be trimmed like the OEM stops?
