JCW Suspension rear bump stops

I have a question, I just installed JCW suspension on the wifes 06 car, ever thing is great, but I read in the instrustions to mod (notch) the rear inner flange above the upper control arm and install a bump stop on top of the upper control arm. I understand that the mod (notch) to the rear inner flange is not necessary on 05-06 cars (all ready notched from factory), but are the bump stop also not necessary to be installed on 05-06 cars?, I think they are also not installed because there is no way to mount them to the upper control arm on a 06, no holes on the top of the control arm for mounting?.
So any one out there with a 06 with JCW suspension installed please take a look to see if the stops are mounted.

TIA

The kit came with the bump stops, but there is no way they will attach to a 06' upper control arm, there must be a change to the current upper control are from previous years?.
