Bump stops and H+R springs

Hi, I have got some H+R springs, just wondering if any one is useing the ome stock bump stops uncut and if they are having any issues with them bottoming out? If you have cut them down which part are you useing the top solid part of the bump stop or the lower softer part of the bump stop that holds on the black dust boot?
Thanks.

I ran them for a year on factory bumpstops without cutting them. I never had a problem. I still have them that way as a matter of fact

Yeh i'v run mine with the stock bump stops for the last 2 years with no probs untill i hit a large pot hole a few weeks back and broke the top right hand front shock mount, bmw mini wouldnt fix it under warranty coz the springs are not standard which is fair I spoze, maybe my shocks are getting a bit past it as i'v hit post holes before with out any damage. It seems fine now with a new mount fitted and a wheel alignment. I must try harder to avoid the pot holes that make up part of the road system here in Sydney LOL.
