R60 Want to add JCW/Brembo front Brakes
For value and price we have been installing our wilwood kit as it fits and works great.

Otherwise the options become a mess that they aren't just bolt on.

Isn't there a BMW mechanic out there that can help? I can't be the only person that wants to upgrade their brakes without spending over a grand on Wllwoods or JCW's
Come on guys, Brembo makes brakes for almost every car????
You can get Maserati/Brembo front brakes for 150.00 on eBay....Really no one has tried this?

Did you look at any of the 3 threads on the first page of the Countryman Wheels Tires and Brakes Section?? With just a bit of searching i suspect you will find more threads than those ones.

As far as I know, the R60 JCW brakes are the same brakes on the S. Only real option to upgrade is better pads or a BBK.

Would think you can go to RealOEM and research the BMW line to determine if the hub carriers are same from the X1 to on of the M's. If they are then would seem the brakes themselves would also work. The question is whether an engineer would design a hub carrier assembly to work on both a FWD and RWD.
The other thing would be to go to a salvage yard. ALLMAG Autoparts is a vendor here and does salvage both BMW and MINI.
