Problems

I have a 2011 countryman s, and today it didn’t want to start it made noises when I tried to start it and it eventually got started but the turning signals didn’t work and the ABS light came on and emergency brake light was red and the traction light came on and airbag light and on the tachometer the warning light with a mini on a lift came on as well any thoughts?

That was my first thought also. Not knowing what all the MINI symbols mean the MINI on a lift may point to some brake issue, but a low battery can throw some strange errors. Good luck, post the solution when you find it out.

Thanks Jim

I can attest they get really pi$$ed off when the battery is low to dead. Ours died yesterday, 2 weeks after a new one was installed. Still troubleshooting that we didnt leave something on, but it was to the point where it wouldn't even spit the key back out of the dash it was so dead.

They had to replace the controller in the footwell area on mine to get rid of all the error messages. Damm that was expensive....

Did the foot well module have rust or corrosion on it near the terminals or on the board?

Lucy was in last week for service and they said her battery was in the test range to be replaced. They said OEM batteries are on backorder. Hopefully it holds out another 9K to when she is due in the shop again.

besides for the fact it will be free, it's barely worth the trip to the dealer
