I say skip.

1) All American cars pictured on the front page.
2) Hummer pictured twice on the front page.

Some car show.

It doesn't look that bad. I didn't notice the double Hummer until you mentioned it though.

They will have the MINI cabrio there, plus some concepts such as the Ford Shelby.

It looks like a way to kill some time, especially if the weather turns bad over the next couple of days.

I personally would skip it, not for the reasons posted above but because the show usually sucks. Its a poor attemt at a small version of the LA auto Show.

Most major auto MFG's will be there representing a portion of their stuff, but there isnt that many concepts, customs, vendors etc.

Wait for the big one in January that is where ALL the cars are.

 Well, I went to the link and saw that the MINI Cabrio (called a convertible on the site) will be featured. That alone (calling it a convertible) puts me off! LOL!

I noticed the convertable/Cabrio fauxpaux also. Now you are all bumming me out. I was jonesing for a good auto show, now it looks like I will have to wait for LA. Oh well, maybe I will go just to kick the tires without running around all of SoCal. I did want to see the Cabrio, Mustang and a few other new models that are coming out.

For the record I didnt mean any offence by my last post.

If you are looking to kill a day and kick some tires the show isnt that bad, but I wouldnt drive an hour to get there.

Just so everyone knows, the MINI Convertible is actually called convertible by MINI USA themselves. So I think it's permissible for others to call it that too.

I went to this show with my two boys. Wasn't a bad way to spend a Friday night.
Here's a pic I took with my cheapo Colorsplash . . .

After looking at the floor plan – could they have put the MINI in a more out of the way spot or what.

I had free tickets so I went. The Anaheim show is pathetic compared to LA.

Even thought it was small and out of the way, the exhibit was rather well visited. I went with my bro on Thurs. and the area was seeing some action.

Since I have never been to the LA auto show, I will reserve comment comparing the two. But, this show was nothing more than walking around an auto mall. The few concepts were nice and the models were entertaining. Half the time I felt really bad for them as NOONE stood around to listen to their presentations. After listening to the Nissan girl talk about the Xterra, she immediately thanked me for hanging around.

I was there the same day and it was kind of weird watching the women do their presentations with absolutely no audience - except me that is because some of them were HOT! Did you happen to see the Cadillac with the V16 engine and the HUGE wheels? Crazy stuff.
