...who has a red MCS with a matching roof? It seems like it...

 

I've only seen one...it was a CR/CR with an aero kit and a sunroof and looked stunning w/ all that red + black accents going on. Really!...I just stood there speechless (in the dealer showroom) and gawked. Other than that I haven't seen one on the road or at any of our local club meets. Based on what I've seen alone, I'd say you're pretty lucky to have such a rare and great looking MCS!!!

 

I actually bought it at the Lexus dealership I work at when I first started. It was the only one they had and I snatched it up that day!

I saw a black MCS with the matching black roof the other week and I was a little jealous...

 

I dunno, is this one yours? One of my coworkers has a BRG MC and was parked in front of me, as soon as he left this Red MCS took his space. I just HAD to get a picture.

 

I've seen an all Chili Red Cooper, but not the S. And with the aero kit, it would be REALLY sweet!

My Wanda is all Jet Black with a Union Jack Sunroof Flag. She's a beauty!:smile:

Just want to say that your car looks sweet with CR/CR. I just got my MINI and I like the same roof color as the car. The black on black also looks good. I like mine too PW/PW.

 

I'm a member of the one color scheme, too. Love the all red car, JENNB.

The all CR color scheme is not rare in my area. A few have the full aerokit and one has the JCW kit as well. It's bold looking. You'll have more contrast with a white or black roof and mirrors. Looks good either way.

Wheel combos I've seen-
For CR/CR- mostly silver wheels or chrome
For CR/W- mostly silver or white wheels, can also be chrome
For CR/B- mostly silver or black/anthracite/black pearl with polished lip.

For CR/CR (or any solid color scheme) you can elect to do chrome trim on the grilles, mirrors and bumpers, etc.

 

No, that's not mine but that's exactly what mine looks like! I don't have a sunroof.

Around here (South Florida, Broward County) I haven't seen any.

 

I'm thinking of having the hood scoop painted black and the chrome around the grill painted red. Thoughts?

 

Painting the scoop black sounds like a good idea. Not sure about the painting the chrome, though. Good luck.

 

Well, it's just that I'm not a fan of all the chrome on the car. It looks like a Bentley (or somethin'...) in the front!

A quick search of Mini2.com members shows 46 MCS's with CR/CR.

 

 

If I were at all planning on doing stripes on a MINI, I'd definitely want the body and the roof the same color.

I just got my Purple Haze with matching roof today. The color is really beautiful. Pictures tomorrow in the sunshine!
