I ordered them with my car but it came with the carpet mats. I just recived the rubber mats via UPS yesterday and must say I am very pleased with the quality!! Very nice.

Anywho...I was wondering if any of you out there with the rubber mats use the little anchor hooks? And if so, do you have to make the wholes in the mats? Are they really necessary? They are quite heavy so I don't imagine they are really that impotant in keeping the mats from shifting about.

 

I've never had any problem with my rubber mats shifting around. I've even left them in while doing some auto-x runs and they didn't move a bit.

 

I used the little hooks. They are kind of a joke, but they do hold them in place. I may take them out and put a little velcro on the back of the mats like the trunk mat has.

 

Im using the hooks when I use the rubber mats...but not sure if it's doing much. Im more of a fan of the carpet matts because it doesn't show as
much white foot prints from soil and road salt.

I really like the rubber mats, and need them. I already have red wine grape bits staining the carpet mats. The rubber will handel the grape and chemical crud my shoes are covered with these day better than the carpet. All that grape stomping leaves your boots dirty.
