Unhappy Bluetooth audio output

Hi everyone,
just curious if anyone have problem with the volume of audio output via bluetooth or dock connector. My f56 is equipped with connected visual boost system and harman kardon speakers and when I stream music using bluetooth or dock connection, the driver side is noticably softer and i think the speaker under the driver seat isnt work. However, if i switch it to radio mode at the same volume, it is a lot louder with full audio output on both driver and passenger side.

Have you tried turning the volume all the way up on your device/phone?

Interesting. My FM radio is noticeably quieter than my am, satellit or media. Thought in my case it might be because I have a stubby antenna.,

Check your EQ settings if you are on iPhone, got to settings | music, then EQ ...

There are settings for bass minimizer or bass boost etc, make sure eq is off.

Turning off Sound Check and Volume Limit help too:
Both are under Settings, then Music

I'm not an iphone user, but have you checked to see if there is a volume setting for Bluetooth on your iPhone?

Unfortunately it's just the way the head unit is. There seems to be no fixing it unless Mini releases a software fix for it. Does the same thing with my iphone on my Cooper S and my wifes 2017 Countryman.

The fix = aftermarket amp with more power. Costly but more volume and better sound.

I mentioned. It on anothrr thread. But my android phone is the she way. Even with a $600 Marshall bluetooth speaker. I use optical, trs and rca with that despite almost fixing it with a high quality paid app. I

I. My Cars, for convenience i do use the music player Poweramp $7. It has a preamp setting in the EQ section with a seperaye pre amp slider that boosts the output. 75% on the slider and some tweaks of the 8 band equalizer help compensate for the poor stock speakers. The music app with the tone shaping needs to be running in the background or your droid might use a generic app that sounds bad.

If you want good sound. Bluetooth isnt good anyway l. It is low bandwidth and low sample rate unless both your devices (phone and car) support an enhanced bluetooth codec like one of the Atpx variants.

Dont know much about iphone to offer help on that front..
