C4 vette wheels on a r53??

I need help I have an r53 and I'm wanting to put c4 corvette wheels on it the wheels are 17-9 and 17-10 from what I understand stock mini wheels are 17-7.5. So how can I calculate the spacer needed to not rub???

I don't know anything about those wheels, but odds are they aren't anywhere close to the right bolt pattern, and would need custom machining at the least.

Pics and fitment here:

Most are conversions and then 8.5 wide. Good luck on fitting 10's you will be poking.

uhhh ok

neat looking wheels, but the performance is gonna be horrible if you dont get some wider tires on there, what size are those tires?

I really don't understand the stretched tire look. Is it just me?

That's pretty aggressive, just watch the rear so you dont knock off the rear wheel arches when you go over bumps. We tested some super wide wheels we did not go with as the rear wheel arches keep getting bumped and then clipped out.

It's a "thing" but a dying thing, I hope. Like most trends, people who follow them just move on to the next trend. People do, finally, grow up...

As for the look/style of the wheel itself, looks pretty good on an R53. Also looks like a Corvette wheel was put on an R53, which kind of defeats the purpose of custom wheels on a Mini. I could put a VW roof luggage rack on a Mini. Would that make the Mini better?
