front bumper removal

MCS 09

Anyone know what the fittings are under the front bumper in the one vid I found they were torx? The front edge underneath hard to see but do not see torx. A small bit is fitted into a larger bit presumably the smaller one should pull out But it doesn't.

Had to quit be fore i destroyed something.

Are you talking about the plastic bumper cover?
If so mine is attached along the lower front lip with plastic rivets and two torx screws, one on each side.

Show pix of what you pointing at. Torx are T20. Than you need to unclip the plastic wheel trim to free it from the bumper and there are two plastic rivets. Push on them while having something push on the other direct from the other side. There is another T20 attaching pumber to rad support.

Sometimes with the rain amd dirt they do that. Spray some dw40 or similar to get them loose. Otherwise just yank them out on the replace them.
What are you trying to do if you dont mind me asking?

Jbasic maintence some rust on end of frame & as one torx was missing the other was halfway out. I need to know how bumper comes off so when I need to get there it is not an issue.
I will try the wd40

I am assuming #11 is the correct fitting to go up into bottom of front cover?
Or is it #13 & 12 the torx?

Like working on a Land Rover but different.

I dont see the numbers on the diagram. you can order from ebay, aliexpress, www.fcpeuro.com for these plastic parts. realoem is to get the part numbers and order from the dealer. the price you see is the actual price of the item without the dealer's markup price.
