New Side Stripes!

I've been wanting to add some stripes but just couldn't find anything I wanted. I've always like the original challenge stripes but wanted something more minimal.

Then I saw some photos of the MINI safety car and liked how they did away with the white portion of the checkers, leaving only the black. This allowed the car's color to come through.

So taking a little of each design I created the following...

A close-up of the rear of the stripe...

WOW! I really like the look. Sharp looking MINI.

It also made me smile a bit. Turn the graphic up and push the "fire" button and you've got Space Invaders.

Looks great. I'm brainstorming some custom stripes now. I like to see what other folks come up with.

I wonder how it would look with that stripe wrapped around the front bumper

Update to my Cooper. Decided I wanted a checkerboard roof after all these years. I know it is polarizing - most either hate it or love it. The good thing is it is vinyl so I can always go back. I had to first cover the roof in black vinyl then add the red squares. Also added the center stripe in white the month before. I was recently pulled over by the Texas DPS. They gave me a warning for speed but said nothing about my vinyl license plate even after walking to the front and looking! Oh, also added the red nm rims that I picked up here on NAM. The trooper said he could see me coming a mile Away! There is no hiding while driving this checkerboarded Cooper!

Need to add a number or something in the white circle number plate area. Looks like it is missing something.
