ScanGauge or Ultra Gauge?

I can't stand not knowing at least the water temp in my 07MCS and I'm looking for an efficient and low-cost method.

I ran across these two items and seeking opinions from an actual user standpoint.

Thanks.

I have purchased and used both in my 07 base model and 06 JCW. The ultraguage quit working in my 06 after a year or so of use, the scanguage is still going strong in the 07 after 9 years. I now have a scanguage in each car.

Thanks for your response.

While it was working were you able to monitor coolant temperature and maybe boost?

Do you wish for traditional gauges or are you satisfied with the OBD2 gauges?

Scangauge for sure. I have one in each of my cars and love it. Plus we send them preprogrammed with the extra MINI specific codes so you can get oil temp on an 07, the newer cars have a few more things including oil pressure.

Thanks for all previous answers.

ScanGauge is currently closed.

I have version 4.2 and the version needed to get XGauges is 4.13G2.

Will I have to downgrade my version to 4.13 or the XGauge stuff will already be in 4.2?

Thanks.

I've got an ultra gauge from a previous car around somewhere, worked fine for a few years and 100k miles. Only issue was every once and a while something would go askew and I'd have abunch of negative values. Dunno would just unplug and reset everything it'd be fine.
Now I use a obd2 bluetooth adapter (25$) torque app (5$) and tablet(tab s 8.4, obviously this can be something way cheaper) and mount (20$) to monitor everything

I understand that you can have at least one page of four gauges.

Can you have multiple pages of gauges and can you then scroll the pages of gauges?

Thanks.
