Where do you put spare change?

In all cars/vans/trucks I've owned, there has always been a place to put loose coins whether it was the ash tray or an actual spare change compartment.

Where do you keep spare change in your Mini?

In my pocket. I don't like things rattling around.

In the armrest...especially the quarters, then I have them available for the parking meters.

In an empty pill bottle in the armrest, just quarters for the carwash when Nigel needs a bath.

I bought a black MINI coin purse, I keep it behind the cup holders.

Wife's purse.

Get a change purse and keep it in the console, or tray under the emergency brake lever. The woman's clasp change "thingies" lay flat, don't roll around or jingle when driving.

I use a 35mm film canister. I hope I never lose it because then I'll need to figure something else out.

change ?!?!?!

coins, change, is so passé. Who EVEN accepts change anymore?

LOL

seriously, everything is automated (parking meters, parking lots etc) these days, and just about everyone accepts all major credit cards. In fact, most NFC phones can even be set up for the tap and go payment.

If I come across loose change, I keep it in my pockets and save it in my desk at work.

Cheers

Some Chicago suburbs only accept change in parking meters.

This is larger than it looked on the website, it doesn't quite lay flat behind the cupholders. I can't find it on the usual websites anymore.

They sell the ashtray as a coin holder.

It seems like it would be a bit tough to dig down for a dime.

To either stow your change or ashes, this black matching tray that fits snug into ether of the front cup holders matches the design of the MINI Cooper.
Flip top spring loaded lid.
Sometime this ends up missing from your MINI and you like to have one.
