If I install a Milltek Catless DP on my F56 I know it will need a tune before I can drive it. If install the NM Power Module, would that be enough? Or would I need an actual tune?

You will need an actual ECU tune to keep from throwing a CEL and to take full advantage of the DP.

 

JB4 might be a better option for catless downpipe as it removes CEL

 

couple things to note:

- JB4 just resets the CEL, but doesn't fix the actual problem.
- with the JB4 fix, by resetting the CEL, you still cant' pass emissions as the readiness monitors start over again @ every reset.
- if the DP has a secondary O2 bung (like mine does) with an O2 spacer on it (like mine does), it tricks the car into thinking all is well and will not throw a CEL.

i have a JB4, and i have the "reset cel" option disabled, and i don't have a CEL. and i passed emissions.

but yes, to get the maximum power, you'll need a tune. you can get improved power with a DP/JB4 or DP/NM.

Note: i was getting overboost issues that i thought was DP-related. but...i recently confirmed that a few cars i was using as comparison that had stock CAT's were also overboosting, so it is not the DP. i also just had my car updated and since then, my overboost has disappeared. i don't get it, but that's what's going on.
