Reasonable brake pads all the way around

Need to replace the pads on my 2009 MCS. Looking for a nice reasonable brake pad that won't brake the bank but also won't cover my wheels with dust. Hoping to stay between $100-$125 if possible.Street only no track. Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks

I used EBC Greenstuff on my 08 S and worked well. OEM brake feel but in my experience less brake dust. At least they're advertised to have less brake dust... Around $80for fronts and $70 rear, IIRC. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Thanks for the reply. I was looking at the Redstuff ECB Pads. Are they any harder on the rotors?

+1 on the Akebono Euro Ceramic pads... but what's wrong with them on the track, too? I didn't notice a problem at Mini Thunder.

We use EBC Reds on all the brake jobs we do in the shop for daily drivers and they have been great.

the Akebonos aren't bad, but don't have as good feel as the reds

I was torn between the reds and the greens. Ended up getting reds but what's the difference? I do no track time, occasionally do some spirited driving but mostly do highway. Would I have been ok with the greens? How hard on the rotors are either one?
Thanks

here's what I find on MiniMania about EBC .. altho I think this is mostly lifted from the EBC site ....

EBC GREENSTUFF UPGRADE PADS
A nice upgrade from stock with a slight brake dust reduction. Greenstuff 6000 series is regarded as a first level brake improvement over stock and can deliver up to 15% improvement in stopping power.

The latest version of Greenstuff brake pads are a deliberately softer compound to improve pedal feel on lighter cars at lower speeds. This resulted in a medium dust material with good lifetime and minimal rotor wear.

EBC REDSTUFF CERAMIC 'LOW DUST' PADS - Best Seller!
Our most popular brake pad upgrade for the significant brake dust reduction while improving brake performance.
There are two reasons our customers love Redstuff, First because they are the lowest dust pad we have encountered by reducing dust by 60-90%. Plus the minimal dust you see is very easily removed with a simple sponge wash as it contains no steel fibre particles as in all other pads. Second they brake like an alligator right from cold (as good as Original pads or better) and just get better as they heat up.
This material is a Kevlar® fibre based brake compound enhanced with ceramic particles.

As EBC’s flagship street brake pad material for prestige and faster cars above 200BHP, the EBC Redstuff ceramic Brake pads sets new standards in brake performance. Tested at the UK Motor Industries Research Association (MIRA) in witnessed tests early Redstuff reduced car stopping distance in tests by almost 50 feet from 100 MPH offering a staggering 30% brake improvement.

I have the Akebono Euro Ceramics on my 2009 MCS. I like them a lot and will replace with same when the time comes.

I may try the EBC Reds on my 2013 JCW ,based on opinions expressed here. I want an aggressive pad, but without the dust.

I found the EBC Greens to be not much better than the factory pads for dust. They seem to grab more than factory too. Ive had good experience with akebonos on other cars.
